My Personal Experience with Wine so far...
When it comes to wine my pallet is very inexperienced. In the past I've gone to wine tastings, tried several, but enjoyed few. On family vacations we try to visit local wineries and do a tasting. I try to push myself out of my comfort levels and try them all. In Branson we visited Stone Hill winery. We left with a bottle of Cream Sherry, Pink Catawba, and a couple bottles of Spumante. I grew up around a limited selection of wine. Similar to my own tastes, my mother only drinks a few. The go-to in our house is Beringer White Zinfandel. After I turned 21 I thought all white zinfandel wines must be similar..I was wrong. I tried a few types when out to dinner, but none were as good as Beringer. I'm always up for trying new ones, but i prefer to have someone with me who will drink it if I don't like it. I hate wasting it.
